Topics (One lab each week):
Structure: 180-minute lab per week. One-hour practice test and a two-hour practice final. Lab report assignment each week. Reports include pre-lab assignment, objectives, methods, equipment list, and the lab results (sometimes in the form of tables and graphs created by Excel), solutions to lab assignments and conclusion.
Policy: Homework is due next week same day after it has been assigned. Late homeworks, if accepted, are subject to 20% Penalty. No homework accepted after solution is posted. You are encouraged to work together on homework; however it should be your work that is submitted. It is your responsibility to know all exam dates and arrival times for the exam. No make-up exams will be given in this class except for written medical excuse and no extra time will be given for late students. No exam is given if you are 30 minutes late. Even if you are late in the exam, you must turn in at the due time. Punctual attendance is expected of all students. A roll will be taken at each class meeting. This consists of signing your name on the attendance record for that date. Unexcused absences will result in the assessment of a penalty affecting the student's grade.
